The Shared Life Assembly
The Shared Life Assembly began as a humble fellowship on the 8th of February 2020, born out of a divine vision to create a community rooted in faith, love, and the expression of The God-Life in every sphere of living. Founded by Reverend Christopher Okolo and his late wife, Reverend Favour Onyinyechi Christopher, this fellowship was a testament to their unwavering commitment to God, spreading the gospel, and fostering spiritual growth among believers.
From its inception, the fellowship was a beacon of hope and unity, attracting individuals seeking a deeper connection with God and a sense of belonging. Revd. Christopher Okolo and Revd. Favour Onyinyechi Christopher, with their shared passion for ministry, nurtured the fellowship with dedication, wisdom, and compassion. Their leadership was marked by a profound sense of purpose and a desire to impact lives positively.
The passing of Revd. Favour Onyinyechi Christopher was a profound loss, but her legacy of faith, love, and service continues to inspire the Shared Life Assembly. Her contributions laid a strong foundation for the fellowship, which continued to grow and thrive under Revd. Christopher Okolo's steadfast guidance.
On the 26th of February 2023, the fellowship reached a significant milestone as it officially transitioned into a full-fledged church. This transformation was a celebration of God's faithfulness and the collective efforts of the members who had journeyed together in faith. The Shared Life Assembly, as it is now known, stands as a vibrant church community, committed to nurturing spiritual growth, fostering unity, and impacting the world through the love of Christ.
Today, the Shared Life Assembly continues to honor the vision of its founders. It remains a place where individuals can experience the transformative power of God's Word, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to a shared mission of spreading the gospel, through the expression of The God-Life. Revd. Christopher Okolo's leadership, coupled with the enduring legacy of Revd. Favour Onyinyechi Christopher, ensures that the church remains a source of hope, inspiration, and spiritual nourishment for all who walk through its doors.
